The York Revolution announced today a partnership that makes the Wyndham Garden York the official hotel of York’s professional baseball team.
Through the two-year deal, the hotel will provide discounted rooms to the Revolution for players and coaches of Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) teams visiting York to take on the Revolution.
The team will promote the hotel to people traveling to the area for Revolution games and non-game events at PeoplesBank Park.
The Wyndham Garden will also serve as official hotel of the York Ice Arena, which is managed by the Revolution, and provide discounted rooms to players and families visiting the area for hockey tournaments hosted by the arena.
Located at 2000 Loucks Road, the Wyndham Garden York features 117 rooms and a wide range of amenities. Team officials said the state-of-the-art facilities, renowned service, and convenient proximity of the hotel – which is less than four miles from the ballpark – made the partnership ideal.

Christina McCullough, director of sales and marketing of the Wyndham York Garden, described the agreement as a win for both organizations.
